Amanda + Richard’s Barnsley House Wedding {Quirky Country Charm}

I completely adore Amanda and Richard. When I grow up, I want to be just like them;)They are the most wonderful, warm, funny people who clearly adore each other. As well as being devoted partners, they’re also parents to two incredibly lovely girls, who are a true credit to their parents – children who are such a joy to be around.
I was introduced to Amanda and Richard via Helen Carter, the Essex based wedding planner, and was immediately struck by how laid-back, how intimate and how social their wedding was going to be. Well, Helen worked her magic to make all of Amanda and Richard’s plans come true, from the beautiful outdoor ceremony to the stunning place-names hanging from the trees, to the treasure hunt for the children and the jazz band on the lawn. We had a few surprises on the day (including the fire brigade having to turn up for a small chimney fire) but Helen and her team were in complete control, and managed every portion of Amanda and Richard’s day perfectly, with the usual incredible help from all of the staff at Barnsley House. The day was perfect in every way, and I know that Richard and Amanda will have many years of marriage ahead of them, and will remember their wedding day as a day filled with incredible memories. Here are just a few of the highlights of their day.
(Dream team are listed at the end, because it really was a dream to work with everyone on this wedding)

So so so beautiful. I am quite in love with this venue, and the perfect backdrop for the stunning marquee, flowers (love!) and other pretty details and all captured so well. The reflection in the pond shoot is rather spectacular! Well done to all involved xo.

I have heard so much about this wedding (including the pavlovas which don’t look *that* small, Helen!), so it’s lovely to see it at last. Such wonderful details and lovely photos – everyone’s hard work paid off so beautifully!
