A Winter Wedding in Oxford {Happy Anniversary}
It was a year ago on Sunday that Dulcie and Sebastian got married, in a beautiful intimate ceremony at the Oxford Oratory, followed by a drinks reception at The Old Parsonage hotel and dinner at Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons. I’m going to share their wedding photos again today, as I discovered when I was looking yesterday that they’re no longer on my site and it was such a beautiful day that I’d like to relive it through these images. Dulcie wore the most gorgeous Enzoani dress (Dorothea) and her mother’s vintage fur wrap. She wore Jimmy Choo ‘Lace‘ shoes. In fact, her shoes inspired another of my brides – Franky – who, as you’ll see tomorrow on Love My Dress, had the same shoes…

Dulcie and Sebastian, realising that they would likely be short of natural light for their January wedding, decided to do a ‘First Look’ – they met an hour before the ceremony, away from their guests, and shared a few private moments together before their ceremony.

Their Church ceremony was beautiful, and then they returned to The Old Parsonage for drinks and canapés, before heading to Le Manoir in black cabs (a nod to their London roots) for their private dining experience.

Happy Anniversary, Dulcie and Sebastian. I hope that the first year of marriage has been kind to you, and wish you many, many more happy years together. Eliza x

I’ll never tire of seeing Dulcie and Sebastian – I can’t believe it’s been a year, and such a shame this was one of the posts you lost because this is among your very best work!
