It’s always a little nervewracking when you meet a client, who you’ve booked based only on a brief telephone chat and a couple of emails, for the first time. Nicola and Jon confessed that they were also nervous meeting me – it’s SO important to feel a connection with your wedding photographer. But none of us needed to worry really – it was like meeting old friends. Nicola is lively, witty and great fun, and Jon is fascinating, especially when he talks about his work (he’s an artist, specialising in graphical drawing). We had a coffee first of all, then they briefly indulged my love of antique suitcases (gave me time to run to the bank to get cash out to buy an absolute beauty at a local market stall!) before we took a few photos, and ended having a drink in their local pub. The perfect Sunday afternoon!
I can’t wait for Nicola and Jon’s wedding at Highcliffe Castle in September, but I do hope I get to meet up with them before thenr as I really did love our afternoon together.
